I’m nothing fancy, but I’m not plain. I’m here to whine, here to laugh, here to ponder, here to express. I always feel it’s okay to add more than one ! or one ? to the end of a sentence and a few … in between is always acceptable.
I named my blog, Karin Won’t Stop Talking, because even though I am writing or blogging, for me I am talking to all my readers. I am sharing a story or a thought or a fun laugh, and the only way to do it so it seems real from me to you, is by, essentially, “talking.”
I love football and the beach…but who doesn’t?!?! I’m an ex-nanny (this is being said with pride, of course). I hold a degree in Early Childhood Education and I’m currently working towards a degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology.
My work has appeared in the following:
- “Abundance of Knowledge for Scenes,” SCBWI Bulletin – Jan/Feb 2012
- “Sharon’s Wheels,” Guardian Angel Kids Ezine – June 2011
- “A Ferry Ride,” My Light Magazine – June/July 2011
- “Jack’s Button,” Stories for Children Magazine – May 2011
- “Snow-Bite,” Flashshot – March 2011
- “Big Fish Bay,” My Light Magazine – 2010
- “Size of a Whisper,” (reprint) Ipbookreviewers-bookheaven.blogspot.com – 2010
- “The Contest,” My Light Magazine – 2009
- “Try a Treasure Hunt,” Reunions – 2009
- “Size of a Whisper,” Fandangle Magazine – 2007
- “Courtney and the Forty-Two Ears of Corn,” Fandangle Magazine – 2007
- “What Kind of Pizza is Your Story,” The Journey SCBWI AZ Newszine – 2007
- “I Have Two,” Highlights High Five – 2007
- “Something Similar,” The Journey SCBWI AZ Newszine – 2006
My first middle-grade book release date is TBD, while my picture book manuscripts are on agent’s desks and editor’s slush piles.
Please remember that whatever you see on my blog is copy-written.

Blogging is yet one more thing (Facebook is another) that I really don’t fully appreciate. More than likely this is because I earn my living pecking away at a keyboard, and I’m not sure it’s a good idea to spend the few spare minutes in each day doing more of the same. Still, it beats watching most of what passes for enterainment on the TV machine. Oh, have to go, Bill Maher is coming on soon, and we don’t have Tivo!!
LOL…is Bill Maher enterainment???? You need to get a DVR…it keeps you from having to watch crap on accident!
Hi, nice to meet you !
Hi ReadersHeaven!
Been awhile since I last visited. The Blog is coming along nicely, and the content, variety and graphics are enjoyable. Keep on ‘talking’. Oh, BTW – Bill Maher is back on the television machine next Friday. Something to look forward to!
What is a good email to contact you, Karin? Heard your blog on Ring of Fire and wondering if you want to check out our documentary on the student debt crisis. Would love to connect about this.
