My real name is not Dog, but for the sake of keeping it easy to remember on the blog, it works. I am an eight year old female shelter rescue dog. I was found in an orchard in Washington, when I was roughly nine months old. I had puppies and was doing my best to protect them from the wild animals.

Mom and Dad came and got me from the shelter and brought me home. I don’t enjoy much, other than napping. I am not sure all the breeds I am, but we are pretty sure I am Blue-Healer, Shepard, Lab of some kind. I look like a Rottweiler, but at only 50 pounds it doesn’t seem like I could have it in me.

I’m Awesome! I used to be Puppy, but I turned one and so I was no longer a puppy, so we can’t use that name anymore. Awesome works well for me.

I am a male English lab, and I weigh about 90 pounds. I am told I am a “Big Boy!” At least that is what Mom says when I sit in her lap. Mom and Dad picked me over all my brothers and sisters when I was 8 weeks old.

My favorite things to do are eat and play. I love life and everyone! I do enjoy doing things I am not supposed to do! But it’s okay, because I am Awesome!
