Sometimes discovery comes from unknown life plans…changes…

And like everything else as of lately I accept and welcome the changes and unexpected new open-mindedness.

These changes in life’s plan have opened my heart, mind, and ideas. I believe the word I’m looking to use is…altering dreams. And because of this or these…I move forward to better my current and future life…and this blog will be changing too.

AND because WordPress makes somethings difficult (LOL) I ask that you please join me at my new blog. It will be the same content as Karin Won’t Stop Talking, but under a new name and new background.

How does one understand that they are missing someone, feeling those feelings of missing?

When you look up the word miss you find this…

Miss: To notice an absence or a loss, to fail to hit a ball, to fail to take advantage, to fail to be present, to fail to meet.

There are a lot of negative connections to the word miss (i.e. fail). Yet often times we use it to speak about someone we miss because they are not currently present, be it busy, gone, or possibly even death.

I personally refer to missing as an emotional feeling, rather than a negative “fail” notation.

If I could re-write the dictionary I would come up with a better definition that matches my idea of missing.

Miss: To have an physical, emotional, and mental feeling of not having a person/object with you.

Today I miss my Mom.

Mom

What is your definition of miss?

LOVE

Okay so I have to follow up to that romantic We post…it seems only fair, yet I am not nearly as skilled as others, so I had to resort to videos. That and with Valentine’s Day tomorrow too ;)

Two of the most romantic songs/videos…ever

We

I simply had to share this with all my visitors. My friend Ross Long has such a complex way with words. He, often times, uncensored and powerful (both good and bad) can really speak volumes. He posted this (see below) on Facebook a few days ago with regards to his love, Jenna, and I felt it was incredibly beautiful and needed to be shared with others.

We
Our love is NOT depicted by
Four stiff drinks on our first date.
Not by 831 I love you’s
Not by 4,184 texts
Not by 11 episodes of Suits
Not by a Darius Rucker concert where beer may have accidentally been strewn about on innocent bystanders
Not by 8 fair rides and 4 losses of breath, coincidentally
Not by meeting her family for the first time whilst hosting Thanksgiving dinner at my house
Not by a Rendle
Not by a Reagan
Not by a road trip up north to Jerome
Not by for the forgiveness of a one Jenna Lee Dillon leaving a Mr. Ross Long’s front door wide open and unattended
Not by an unfathomably awesome getaway to Nashville
Not by a similar keenness to life in general
Not by a similar appreciation for passion
Not by a similar intrigue in learning and progression collectively
No. Our love is not depicted by these things.
Rather, our love is depicted by the fruition of a collaborative “We,” wherein “We” ensues a family epitomizing the understanding of love we have not yet achieved.

Hi everyone, it’s Dog.

Annnddd I am here too, it’s Awesome!

Dog: We just wanted to talk a little about life.

Awesome: That is correct. We wanted to share with you how wonderful our life is.

Dog: Well we don’t want to sound egotistical Awesome.

Awesome: No, we don’t sound like Eggos. Mmmmmm Eggos!!

Dog: No, not Eggos, nevermind. Okay we are here to say, we have it really great. And we think that everyone should find the greatness in their life, somehow.

Awesome: Yes, find your greatness…find your Awesomeness!! HAHAHA

Dog: Awesome, stop laughing, be mature, you are not a puppy anymore.

Awesome: It went well with the sentence, sorry, gosh.

Dog: February is here, get out, enjoy life, stay positive!

Awesome: And find your balls!

Dog: That was not good advise! People will read that as something else entirely. They have no idea that you are talking about how happy you are with your tennis balls.

Awesome: Well now they know, you told them. Balls!!!

Dog: Stop Awesome, just…stop.
